Scary Movies for Kids

Who doesn't love to watch scary movies, specially movies that sends a chill down your spine, movies that gives you goose bumps...these are the best horror movies that most people enjoy watching.

However, the problem is that the movies like 'Drag Me to Hell', 'Psycho' and so on are movies meant for adults as they might be disturbing for kids. So does that mean that kids who love to watch these movies have to wait till they are legally adults to watch such movies?

I don't think so because there are some really good movies for kids to watch which have been directed keeping the young viewers in mind. These movies are scary for the kids, but not disturbing and there are no such scenes which might have a major impact on the kids. Looking for some such movies? Then here is a list.

This is a really old movie, released in the year 1939, but people still enjoy watching it. It's the story about a girl who is transferred along with her dog to a magical land of Oz during a tornado. There she is accompanied by the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion and Scarecrow to go and search for the Wizard of Oz. A wonderful, fun loving family, staying in an old broken down house. Everything is great about them, but there is something funny with all the members of their family. I remember when I was a kid, I used to love watching the animated series of this show which used to come on TV and I am sure you are going to love spending your time with this weird otherwise good family.
