Romantic movies always touch our hearts and leave us wanting more. Read on to know all about the most romantic movies ever made.
Movies are meant for entertainment. They make you cry, they make you laugh, but at the end of the day, they make you forget all your worries, even if just for a few hours. However, one of the best kind of movies to watch when you're feeling down are romantic movies.
Romantic movies always bring back that 'feel good' factor whenever you feel down. And the best way to watch romantic movies is with that special someone by your side, to snuggle up to. So given below are some of the most romantic movies ever made in Hollywood.

Best Romantic Movies of All Time

When Harry Met Sally

"I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."
This 1989 romantic comedy, starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan was a landmark movie in Hollywood. The story follows the journey of two very different people right from the time that they meet while sharing a cross-country drive, through twelve years over chance encounters in New York.
The entire movie dwells on the dilemma over whether a man and a woman can ever 'just be friends' and questions where exactly does friendship end and love start.

The Notebook

"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that's what you've given me. That's what I hope to give to you forever. I love you."
The Notebook was a movie that was released in 2004 and is based on the novel of the same name. It speaks of the love between a penny less country boy and a rich city girl and how in the end, despite all odds, their love triumphs.
This movie has truly moving performances by Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. A movie that will make you laugh and make you cry, 'The Notebook' is really one of the most popular romantic movies of all time.

While You Were Sleeping

"Peter once asked me when I fell in love with Jack. And I told him, 'It was while you were sleeping'."
One of my favorite romantic movies, comedy released in 1995 and it stars Bill Pullman and comedy queen Sandra Bullock. The entire movie revolves around mistaken identities, which leads to loads of laughter.
However, along the way, Sandra Bullock, while claiming to be in love with and engaged to Peter Gallaghar, falls for Bill Pullman, Peter's younger brother. A movie that I definitely think figures in the list of recommended movies to watch, this movie will make you laugh and will make you fall in love all over again.

Love Actually

"If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
How can this list ever be complete without a movie starring Hugh Grant? Love actually is a British romantic comedy which has a star cast that boasts of acting talents like Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, etc.
The movie speaks of ten different stories revolving around a variety of individuals. A movie that will truly make you realize that love actually exists!
