A widower is given a chance to select a new bride based on auditions after losing his wife, watching as his son moves away from home after her death. The new bride is selected through a friend and film producer who makes him choose her according to his liking, where they are then put in a movie. Not aware that there is no movie intended, he later discovers that a sinister plot is about to unfold.


Reiko, who is a reporter, finds herself amidst a baffling case of deaths, after victims watch a video tape, dying exactly one week after. Her cousin Tomoko was also one of the people who died after viewing the contents on the tape. She teams up with ex-husband Ryuji to solve the mystery behind the tape, leading them to an Island, and a girl named Sadako.

Honogurai Mizu No Soko Kara

Cleverly adapted by the English version 'Dark Water', this movie revolves around the strange incidents that take place in Yoshimi's new apartment, where a little girl and her red bag randomly seem to appear in places. She later discovers why this happens, unraveling the shocking story that ensues.

Jisatsu Sākuru

A strange suicide scenario unfolds when 54 students together jump off a platform in Shinkuju station, Tokyo, where detective Kuroda is following on a lead from a woman called 'The Bat', who tries to give them clues about the deaths of those who died in the suicide.

Koroshiya Ichi

Kakihara who is heading a gang of loyalists, is searching for a man named Anjo, who takes off with 3 million yen. Using brutal means to search for him, he comes face to face with his frightening opposition, who is a psychopathic killer named 'Ichi', on his conquest to find Anjo.
